Our Story
Myra Foods began in Johannesburg with a simple frustration: eating plant-based was either time-consuming or, too often, disappointing.
For us, plant-based living isn’t a trend. It’s a way of life that has been part of our heritage for over 30 years. Over the years, we’ve learned that plant-based food can be wholesome without being boring, convenient without compromising on quality, and most importantly, food you actually look forward to eating.
That belief inspired Myra Foods.
We saw an opportunity to create plant-based food that feels familiar, satisfying and genuinely delicious, food that fits effortlessly into modern lifestyles, whether you’re fully plant-based or simply looking to make better choices. From comforting ready-made meals and plant-based alternatives to our growing pantry range, every Myra product is created with great taste, thoughtful ingredients and everyday convenience in mind.
Today, Myra is a proudly South African, Food Safety and Halaal Certified food brand and manufacturer — and we’re only getting started. Our vision is to build a trusted food brand that makes choosing better food feel simple, delicious and exciting.
